Registered Veterinary Nurse (Night)

Connaught House Veterinary Group is a friendly, progressive, clinically driven, independent RCVS accredited veterinary group. Established for over 75 years, we have 4 branches across the West Midlands, Staffordshire and Shropshire.
The RCVS accredited hospital, which has additional RCVS awards in diagnostic imaging and in-patient services offers exceptional clinical and client care. The practice is well equipped with a comprehensive in-house laboratory, digital radiography, dental radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy as well as therapeutic and surgical laser.

Applicant Requirements/Suitability:
We are seeking a forward thinking, friendly RVN to join our night rota on a permanent basis.
This role would be suitable for someone who has excellent time management skills, as you would be the only nurse working. Our vets take the calls till 10 pm when vets now take over, so an interest in in-patient care is essential.
The current rota is 7 nights (Monday-Thursday 10 pm-7.30 am, Friday 10 pm-8.30 am, Saturday 6.45 pm-8.30 am, Sunday 6.15 pm-7.30 am), followed by 1 week off then 5 days shifts working average 38 hours. We would accept candidates wanting to work 1 night in 3 only.

Applicant Requirements:
Due to expanding our current team we are looking for a forward thinking, friendly RVN to join our team on a permanent basis.
This role would be suitable for someone wishing to advance their career and increase their skill set or start a certificate (funded and supported). The position Would be suitable for a candidate with less experience who possesses exceptional attributes which fit with our practice ethos such as strong communication skills, organisation, confidence, being client focused and caring as well as an enthusiastic team player as our extremely experienced staff are on hand to offer support and mentorship.
