The equine team at Connaught House provides veterinary services to all types of horses from Shires through to racehorses and competition horses to Shetlands.
We offer a professional yet caring service where the needs of the horse and owner are considered individually in order to arrive at the most appropriate treatment plan. Many of our staff own or have experience of horses so we truly understand the needs of the horse owner.
We have gastroscopy, endoscopy, ultrasound and a mobile digital X-ray system to help with diagnosis, as well as an in-house lab 24 hr/day which can run the majority of common lab tests. We boast a surgical laser for minor procedures and wound management, and a therapeutic laser as an alternative treatment option. We can offer a wide range of dental diagnosis and treatments including; oroscopic examination, dental radiographs, diastema flush and tooth extraction.
We also provide veterinary services to Wolverhampton, Uttoxeter, Haydock and Aintree racecourses so have vast experience of the professional competition horse and problems they may suffer with.
