Lab
We have an on-site fully equipped laboratory with top of the range analysers and diagnostics tools which offer results in as little as 20 minutes for a wide range of species. Our advanced equipment allows testing to be performed on blood, urine, skin and faecal samples. Some samples may be sent to external specialist laboratories and results from these can take longer to be reported; for example histopathology samples can take 7-10 days to be processed.
We offer the following range of sample testing:
- Biochemistry
- Electrolytes
- Haematology
- Cytology
- T4
- Pancreatitis
- Parvovirus
- Leptospirosis

We also offer Vaccicheck Antibody Titer testing which accurately measure canine antibody Titer to infectious hepatitis, parvovirus and distemper. The Titer test can be an alternative to annual vaccination.
Both Wolverhampton Hospital and Kingswinford Branch surgery have an in-house laboratory.
